We must always cook from scratch for the family...

…or should we?

The more I’ve stressed out that I need to include all food groups at each meal and it all be fresh, the more strained I’ve felt.

We have to allow for the days when we don’t have the time to do this and it’s all good! I’m not saying I’m anti-health, this is a different argument that I see gets often confused.

I’m saying if we strive for perfection all the time, the opposite in fact can happen and we stress ourselves out so much, I question whether that is ‘healthy’ either!!

Allow for average dinners, then we may have more head space for the days we do feel like doing a bit more…
