Wedge Salad

A recent trip to the States inspired me to recreate a wedge salad I’d had over there. Never eaten lettuce like this and whilst not the best pic, it was so tasty! If I was serving this as a family meal, I’d:

  • Serve all the ingredients in the middle of the table so we can help ourselves

  • Make sure there was at least one familiar food on offer (in my kids’ case, they eat lettuce, cucumber, bacon bits)

  • Put zero pressure on the kids to try anything they don’t want to (there is no rush)
