I wanted to create something that parents could put up in the kitchen as regular reminders on how to keep mealtimes fun and calm rather than read a whole book. I have packed in all the main elements you need for happier mealtimes into this poem with the main message being about children having an in-built ability to understand when they are full; an extremely important fact I did not know when starting out!
